The First Responder Assistance Program is administered by BHSTM, a leader in providing emotional and behavioral health consultations, in partnership with Responders 1st CallTM
BHSTM has 38 years of trauma response and behavioral health experience, both on-site and virtual, including disruptive event involvement with 9/11 Twin Towers in New York City, 1987 Amtrak collision in Chase, MD, Baltimore Police Critical Response Program, and many other first responder organizations.
In addition to the intense stress you face in the line of duty, first responders still deal with many of the same issues and problems which most people do. The First Responder Assistance Program includes confidential consultation, resources and referrals for the everyday concerns that can cause distractions and loss of focus when it is most important.
Assistance is available to you and your family to address and alleviate work or personal stressors and emotional health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, family relationships, childcare, eldercare, financial and legal concerns, or other events that interfere with daily life.
The First Responder Assistance Program is not insurance and is provided through Provident Agency, Inc. by BHSTM in partnership with Responders 1st CallTM. This program is included with Accident & Health insurance coverage underwritten by AXIS Insurance Company and provided through Provident.
